How to Keep Yourself Away from Mobile?

Can't you live without your mobile phone? Congratulation! You have nomophobia. Nomophobia is a fear of being detached from a mobile phone. Today, I will discuss some ways to reduce your mobile addiction.

Daily routine:

A daily routine will help you organize your work. If you inform Brain what you need to do today, Brain will not be unnecessarily attracted to mobile phones. You can divide our day's work into different slots. And don't use mobile phones until these tasks are over. You can use the use of mobile as a reward.


Pause:

Every time before using a mobile, pause yourself; you should ask yourself, is it necessary to use mobile now? If the answer is no, then the mobile should not be taken in hand. We should focus on the next task of the daily routine.


Mobile phone fasting:

If you are fasting. You do not eat for a fixed time. In the same way, you can get in the habit of staying without a mobile for a specific time of the day. If you keep practicing in this way, you will overcome your addiction at some point. You will be able to perform your tasks properly without any distractions.


Keep track of every minute:

Sometimes, you want to use your mobile for 2 minutes, but you don't understand how 2 hours pass. So, you have to be careful about the minutes then the hours will work well. So, you can use different apps, where you will be getting an account of how many minutes you will use any apps. From this, you will understand where you are wasting more time and how to reduce it.

Kill unnecessary notification:

When working with attention, little unnecessary notifications are enough to distract your attention. So, you should turn off unnecessary notifications. If any apps want permission to give statements, then don't give permission. You can turn off notifications from the mobile's settings option.


The intoxication of praise :

People To get praise from people, they often post pictures on social media to the intoxication of likes, comments, reactions. We check many times to see how many like comments are reacted. By doing this, we become addicted to mobile. We have to give up the habit of uploading frequent pictures.


Friendship with the book:

It would help if you made friends with books which will reduce your mobile phone addiction. You can keep different books or magazines with you while traveling to other places. Then your time with books will be enjoyable, and you will not remember about mobiles. You should read the print copy; you should not read the PDF on the mobile.


Stress-free life:

When you are frustrated or worried about something, you use mobile for no reason. So, you have to live a stress-free life. If you are frustrated with something, you have to try to solve it. Then mobile addiction will decrease.


Do not use mobile before going to sleep:

You have to give up the habit of going to sleep with mobile. You should not use your mobile for 2-3 hours before going to sleep. Using mobile before going to sleep harms your mental and physical health.


Do not use mobile while eating:

We use mobiles at the dining table so that we can't talk to each other without mobiles. We focused on mobile messages, notifications and waste a lot of time unnecessarily. So mobile can never be used while taking meals.


Do not use mobile in the washroom:

We take mobiles to the toilet now is like we need to make mobiles to start natural work. We have to give up this habit. In this way, we waste a lot of time in the toilet unnecessarily.


Mobile game:

Mobile gaming plays a significant role in mobile addiction. So, we should reduce mobile gaming. The mobile game has different levels. If we complete a class, they will provide us with a reward, a significant cause of mobile addiction.


Keep yourself busy:

We need to keep ourselves busy in various productive activities as much as possible. On the days when we are swamped, we forget about mobile phones. So, we can include ourselves in various social activities. Such actions will give us mental peace and reduce the proliferation of mobiles.


Enjoying the real world:

We enjoy the virtual world more than the real world. We should spend time with family and friends, talk to them. Then we will have a much better time, and our mobile phone addiction will decrease.


Feature phone:

Feature phones usually do not have other time-consuming apps, including social media. So if you can't follow the above rules, you should use feature phones for a while. It would help if you went back to your Android device as the addiction gradually subsides.


Everything has its dark side. We can not deny the usefulness of mobile phones in our lives, but we also know that excess of anything is harmful to us and our belongings. So we should avoid the excess of using a mobile phone and try to make the usage of mobile phone effectively.
